As the name suggests this tour is your journey to feel the soul of India. Yoga – the Staple food for mind and soul and legacy of yogis, Temples which are integral part of culture of India and tigers, the wild heritage of India. In this journey we visit Rishikesh – The Yoga Capital of the world and the place where sacred river Ganges leaves the Shivalik Hills in the Himalayas and flows into the plains of India. Learning yoga on the banks of River Ganges is a joyful spiritual experience. The Journey also takes us to two of the finesh national parks in the country (Corbett National park and Ranthambore National Park). Both these parks are opposite to each other in terms of landscapes but have the charm of leaving visitors spellbound. The Journey also covers golden traingle of India New Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. Jaipur the Pink city of India and a UNESCO world heritage site. Jaipur is a great intoduction to the hoistory and rich culuture of Indian state Rajasthan. An Indian trip remains incomplete without visiting Agra, the city of Taj Mahal, the masterpiece of mugal architecture, and one of the wonders of world that sings the saga of love.The Last destination covered in the journey is Varanasi, the holiest of the seven sacred cities in Hinduism. The city is also a centre for Buddhist pilgrimage. At Sarnath, Lord Buddha gave his first teaching after attaining enlightenment.

Meet your travel manager on arrival at New Delhi airport. Your tour manager would ensure smooth check in at your hotel in Delhi and shall hand over your travel documents. A small briefing about the tour and what you are going to experience in days to come is always good. New Delhi is a city of contrasts with Old Delhi and New Delhi representing thwo different worlds of Heritage and Development. We may utilize rest of the day to catch glimpse of monuments in Delhi city. A visit to Old Delhi can be a unique experience to see of how things function seamlessly without proper alignment of systems. Later you may want to catch glimse of breath taking views of qutub minar, a minaret and “victory tower”. Overnight at Hotel in New Delhi.
A 6 hours and 245 Kms drive takes us to Rishikesh, the yoga and meditation city of India. Located in the foothills of Himalayas on the banks of river Ganges, Rishikesh is the land of yogis and the spiritual centre of India. Though Rishikesh has been land of seekers since ages, it gained popularity in international audience ever since the Beatles visited the ashram of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the late ’60s. Today it is known as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’, with lots of ashrams facilitating yoga and meditation classes. The epicentres for yoga are mainly north of the town, where the fast-flowing Ganges River, surrounded by lush green forested hills, is best suited for meditation and expansion of horizons of mind. In the evenings you can notice a smooth breeze flowing down the valley, the temple bells ringing as sadhus (‘holy’ men), pilgrims and tourists prepare for the nightly ganga aarti (river worship ceremony). Another activity that makes Rishikesh popular on the world MAP is white water Rafting. During our two nights stay at Rishikesh, we stay at one of the luxurious resorts on the banks if Ganges river with access to white sand beach. In the mornings we shall practice yoga and meditation with private instructor and one of the evenings we shall visit Ganga aarti and temples. Ganga aarti is a sight to watch where thousands of pilgrims with diyas (natural candles) in hands worship the holy river.
A 6 hours and 240 Kms drive takes us to Corbett National park, the magical place that could turn a famous hunter into conservationist. Corbett national park, named after famous hunter and conservationist Jim Corbett is one of the most unique and beautiful ladscapes to visit in the country. Corbett National Park is often referred by photographers as a park where your camera never stops. Full of life, these woods and river beds are home to tigers, elephants, leopards, bears, four species of deers including Hog deer, which is found only in grassland habitats, many species of reptiles including endangered gharials and over 500 species of birds including resident and migratory species. Corbett national park also gets its popularity from the books on Man eating tigers and leopards written by Jim Corbett. Corbett national park is also known to have one of the highest density of tigers in the wild. This park also is one the the very few places which provides the opportunity of the staying inside the forest rest houses built in core zones of national park. The experience of staying inside the forest presents unique opportunity to feel the soul of forests. During our stay at Corbett national park, for the first night we stay in a luxury resort on the periphery of national park and the other two nights we stay at Dhikala forest rest house inside core zone of corbett national park. The accommodation inside Dhikala zone might be basic but the location and opportunites to spot wildlife are extra ordinary. All mornings and evenings during our stay would be utilised for four wheel drives inside the national park. Meals during stay at Dhikala forest rest house would be vegetarian. During our stay at Corbett national park, we shall also visit gujjar dera. Gujjars are the community that stays on the periphery of national park and depends on cattles for their livelyhood. It would be a great opportunity to understand their circle of life.
A 7 hours and 305 Kms Journey would Take us to Agra, The City of Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world is a ivory – white marble mausoleum on the banks of river yamuna. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 to house the tomb of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj Mahal also houses tomb of the emperor as well. Taj Mahal was constructed using best of the available materials from all over India and Asia. It is believed over 1,000 elephants were used to transport building materials and 22,000 labourers, painters, embroidery artists and stonecutters to shape the Taj Mahal. The plinth and tomb took roughly 12 years to complete and the remaining parts like minarets, mosque and gateway took an additional 10 years. The imperial court of muusoleum documenting Shah Jahan’s grief after the death of her beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal illustrates the love story held as the inspiration for the Taj Mahal. In the evening we enjoy light and sound show in Agra. Overnight stay at prime location in Agra Close to Taj. Next day we visit the glorious Taj Mahal.
A 6 hours and 260 Kms drive will take you to Ranthamore National Park, The land of fort tigers Ranthambore National Park, one of the most popular and best destinations to spot tigers in the wild used to be hunting ground for royal families of Sawai Madhopur. The forest of Ranthambore is dry & deciduous with visibility advantage and hence records good toger sightings. Due to the typr of forests, tigers of Ranthambore have also become used to the presence of tourists most of the times. There are many documentaries filmed in Ranthambore National park which makes it the most popular national park in the country. These documentaries not just made the park popular but also some of the tigers. One of the most famous tigers from Ranthambore National Park was Machhli (Hindi word for Fish), who has the record of surviving in the wild for maximum number of years, ie 20 years in wherein the tigers are believed to have life cycle of 10 to 14 years in the wild. We stay in Ranthambore National park for 3 nights and during our stay in Ranthambore, we shall spend most mornings and evenings exploring premium safari zones of the park on a four wheel drive safari. We shall also visit Ranthambore school of Arts during our stay. The Ranthambore School of Art at Sawai Madhopur was established with an aim to create awareness about the tiger conservation and the students in the school belong to the neighbouring villages. Our Stay at Ranthambore National park would be in a Luxury resort on the periphery of the park.
A 3 hours and 180 Kms drive will take us to Jaipur, the gateway to Rajsthan Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan state of India is also know as the pink city. The story behind pink city goes way back in 1876, when the prince of whales visited India. Since color pink symbolises hospitality, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted whole city pink. Jaipur city is a perfect blend on ancient history with all the luxuries of morden day world. The city has many monuments highlighting the rich history of the place.All these monuments are now open for tourists and attracts tourists from around the world. Jaipur is also one of the three cities which are referred as Golden triangle of India. The city is renowned for colored gems which are used in jewellery. We stay at Jaipur for 2 Nights in a luxury hotel with heritage look. We shall visit Amer fort, Nahargarh Fort, hawa mahal, jal mahal, jantar mantar during our stay. One of the dinners we will have at Chowki Dhani, the introduction to the culture of rajasthan.
A 250 Kms and 5 hours drive will take us back to New Delhi. Today we will visit India Gate – A war memorial Arch and will drive past president’s house, parliament house to reach cannaught place, The Heart of New Delhi and also a shopping hub. Overnight Hault in a Luxury Hotel in New Delhi.
Early morning we head for Airport to board a flight for Varanasi, The Holy city on the banks of Ganges. A 1 and half hour flight shall take us to varanasi. Varanasi, one of the oldest cities in human civilization hold great cultural and religious importance. It is also known as Banaras. Traditional etymology links “Varanasi” to the names of two Ganges tributaries forming the city’s borders: Varuna, still flowing in northern Varanasi, and Assi, today a small stream in the southern part of the city, near Assi Ghat. In the Rigveda, an ancient Indian sacred collection, the city is referred to as Kashi which in sanskrit means ‘to shine’, making Varanasi known as “City of Light”. Hindus believe that dying here and getting cremated along the banks of the “holy” Ganges river allows one to break the cycle of rebirth and attain salvation, making it a major center for pilgrimage. The Buddha is believed to have founded Buddhism here around 528 BCE nearby Sarnath. We stay in Varanasi for 2 Nights and during our stay we shall visit Ghats on the bank of river Ganges, and a boat ride will take us to tow of the famous temples of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. One can feel the positive vibes in the atmosphere while visiting these ghats. We shall also visit Sarnath, the famous Buddhist temple where buddhism is belived to be founded. Our stay would be in a luxurious hotel in the prime location of city.
Here our soulful Indian Journey would end and we take a flight back to New Delhi. Flight time between Varanasi and New Delhi is 1 hour 35 minutes. Overnight we stay in a luxury hotel in the heart of the City and next day we board the flight back home with sweet yet wild memories of India. If time allows we may visit another monument in New Delhi.
