Sundarbans is one of the UNESCO Heritage site situated on the delta of Bay Of Bengal stretching from India's state of West Bengal to Bangladesh. It's the home of the most mysterious swamp tiger The Royal Bengal Tiger. You may have gone to a wildlife tour inside a jungle by Jeep Safari or on an Elephant Safari. You go into the Sundarban Tiger Reserve the world’s largest Mangrove Forest in a Motor Boat.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kolkata

On arrival check-in at your hotel in Kolkata. Dinner and overnight stay at Kolkata.

Day 02: Sundarbans

Early morning drive to Godkhali a place about 90km away from the City of Kolkata. At Godkhali board the motor boat and there begins the estuarine experience. You will be served with freshly cooked food at the boat from fresh ingredients that will cater your breakfast, lunch and dinner and obviously tea and snacks. A dedicated wildlife naturalist will be accompanying you for the tour. After a whole day tour into the Sundarban Tiger Reserve crossing several rivers and creeks and chances of visiting watch towers at Sudhanyakhali and Sajnekhaki you will alight from the boat for your night stay in a Hotel. The more adventurous stay back and sleep in the bunk beds of the boat which has a wash room with WC. 

Day 03: Sundarbans

As the sun rises the safari begins trailing the most elusive Royal Bengal Tiger.  Freshly food served in the boat. Evening back to the Hotel or stay back at the boat. 

Day 04: Departure

Early morning another round of tour into the Sundarbans and approach Godkhali at about 5PM. Transfer back with photos of the mangrove and if you are lucky enough with the photo of the Tiger. 

Reach Kolkata after a drive of 3 hours.

• Jeep Safari will be either in Corbett National Park (Bijrani / Jhirna / Dhela / Durgadevi Zones) OR in Corbett Landscape forest area, subject to availability at the time of confirmation
