A cattle fair, the Brahma temple, the pilgrimage site; Pushkar gives its tourists everything they need. Located approximately 15km away from Ajmer, Rajasthan, Pushkar is a small town known for its dedication towards Hindus. The Brahma temple makes this city popular amongst pilgrims. Tourists like to spend most of their evenings at the Ghats while having tea or walking through the lanes and listening to the temple aarti.
In November, this city observes maximum tourism due to the world-famous Pushkar Mela. This Mela hosts a plethora of activities like rides, folk performances, game stalls, and magic shows. Every house is lit up like for Diwali and love is what Pushkar receives.
The best time to visit Pushkar is between October and March as the weather is cooler and more inviting.
Located approximately 15km away from Ajmer, Pushkar is well connected and accessible by rail & road. Ajmer station is nearest railhead and connected to all the major cities of Rajasthan & Delhi. Ajmer has a interstate bus terminal as well.
Pushkar is around 145 km from Sanganer airport in Jaipur (around 3 hrs drive).
