Home of Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle book, Pench National Park extends over two states of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. It is one of the most beautiful national parks in India and one of the most productive as it holds the highest density of spotted deer in India. Landscape include tall Sal trees mixed with grasslands and Pench river flows in between the park dividing it into two regions. Major wildlife attraction includes tigers, wolves, leopards, wild dogs, gaurs, and many species of deers. Pench is also home to a wide variety of birds. Nagpur is the nearest town to Pench and the best times for safaris are between November to May. Safari is curated in gypsies in different zones. On the Madhya Pradesh side -Turia, Karmajhiri, Jamtara Zone, Wolf Sanctuary, Teliyaand Rukhad zones are present while Khhursapur and Sillari zones are present towards the Maharashtra side. Best timing to visit of from October to March and some zones of Pench are open throughout the year.

Pench National Park remains open for tourists from 15th October to 30th June. Pench National park remains closed for the remaining months.
If you like to see lush green forest with cool & pleasant weather then October to March is the best time for you to visit Pench National park. Mostly tourists visit Pench National park between October to March because of this reason. December to March is the best time for bird watching. Large number of migratory birds visit Pench National Park during these months.
From April to June the heat is unbearable and most of the vegetation at Pench gets dried but sighting of wild animals is easier in these months than compare to winters. Wild animals often easily seen around various man made waterholes.
BY ROAD:
Pench National park is located on the Nagpur-Jabalpur Highway. It is easily accessible from major towns like Nagpur (130 kms) and Jabalpur (210 kms) etc.
BY RAIL:
Seoni Railway station (72 kms) is the nearest railhead to Pench National Park with good train connectivity across India. Jabalpur railway station (205 kms) is the another option to reach Pench national park.
BY AIR:
Nagpur (130 kms) and Jabalpur (210 kms) are the nearest airport for Pench National Park. Nagpur is well connected from Delhi, Mumbai & other cities.
