Experience Jaipur from the eyes of Dera Amer. A different and special tented camp set up in several hundred hectares of wilderness in the wooded Aravalli Hills. The most sought activities in Dera Amer are Dining, Bathing & exploring with the elephants. Elephant lovers get to have a lovely lunch, high tea, or dinner with Laxmi and Rangmela (the elephants). Known for good luck; these elephants greet every tourist with love and respect. When in Dera Amer, there are other activities as well, like village walk, camel safari, and bird watching.
Dera Amer gives the guests an option to stay in either in the luxury tents or the rustic tents for an unforgettable experience. These are safari style tents that not only provide a peaceful ambience but comfortable setting as well. Camp also organise bonfire, barbeque, and Cultural music and dance performances. The rustic tents are designed for authenticity rather than comfort. Known as Quechua tent, it has everything to keep the guests at ease like a clean bathroom, beds, and linens.
Since the climatic conditions are extreme in this part of Rajasthan, the best time to pay it a visit is from October to March.
Dera Amer camp is open for glamping from 1 Oct to 30 April each year.
