Home to a two-thirds population of the greater one-horned Rhinoceros of the world, Kaziranga National Park is one of the most mesmerizing forests of India. Famous for its floodplains of the river Brahmaputra, Kaziranga holds five of the largest mammals in India- Tiger, Elephant, Gaur, Rhino and Water Buffalo along with other smaller mammals and over 300 species of birds. Prominent primate species like Assamese macaque, capped and golden langur, as well as the only ape found in India, the hoolock gibbon are also found here.

Itinerary

Day 1 - On arrival check in at your wildlife-themed resort & have a delicious lunch. This day we keep leisure time for acclimatization. You can go for a nature walk. Dinner & overnight at resort.

Day 2 - Early morning elephant safari in Kaziranga national park. After the elephant safari, we returned to  the resort. Have breakfast. Leisure till lunch. After Lunch jeep safari in Kaziranga National park.  Dinner & overnight at resort.

Day 3 – Morning & afternoon jeep safari in Kaziranga National park. All meals and overnight stay at the resort.

Day 4 – After breakfast depart for the onward destination.

Perched on an altitude of 1500 meters, Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya. Meghalaya is one of the wettest places on earth. Its periphery is dotted with spectacular excursion options of Splendid Waterfalls, lakes, Mysterious Caves, and panoramic view points.

Itinerary

Day 1 – 

Arrive at Guwahati airport. Board your cab & start for Kaziranga National park enroute visit Mahamrityunjay Temple. On arrival check in at your wildlife-themed resort. This day we keep leisure time for acclimatization. You can go for a nature walk. Dinner & overnight stay at the resort.

Day 2 - Early morning elephant safari. After the elephant safari, we returned to the resort. Have breakfast. Leisure till lunch. After Lunch jeep safari in Kaziranga National park.  Dinner & overnight stay at the resort.

Day 3 – Morning & afternoon jeep safari in Kaziranga National park. All meals and overnight stay at the resort.

Day 4 – After breakfast, drive to Shillong. Enroute to Umiam lake. In Shillong visit Wards lake and police bazar, evening free for leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 – After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later visit Nohkalikai falls, Mawsmai cave, Garden of Caves. Seven sisters fall. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 - After breakfast, go for a long 5-hour trek to see the double-decker living root bridge, the most brilliant of all the living bridges found in the world. Later, return to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 – After breakfast transfer to the Guwahati airport to board a flight for the onward destination.
