Perched at an altitude of 2700 meters, Kufri is a hill station in the state of Himachal. It is known for its Devdar (a type of cedar) forest and apple, peach and apricot orchards. After Shimla Kufri is the only place which offers options of activities for all age groups. Owing to its high altitude in summers Kufri promises best suited weather among all hill stations near Delhi and in winters (especially January and February) it receives good snowfall so becomes favourite for snow lovers.

April to June(Summer Season)-Very Good Time
If the weather is clear then in these months Morning and Evening cold (between 10 to 20 degree celsius) while afternoon remain pleasant(between 15 to 25 degree ). If skies become cloudy then temperature may dip further and you may need a jacket even in the afternoon.
July to September(Monsoon Time)-Good Time
During the rainy season one can experience the lush green beauty of the valley and mountains. Spectacular views of snow-clad Himalayas emerges. Which is uncommon in summer time. Kufri has a lot of fruit orchards so one can enjoy the fresh harvest in this season.
October to March(Winter Season)-Good Time
In these months morning and evening become frigid and on a sunny day afternoon remain cold further between December to February snowfall may take place any time so it is advised to travel with a fleece jacket, Muffler.
Chandigarh is the nearest airport. From Chandigarh one can book a cab for Kufri. Kufri is just 127 kms from Chandigarh and takes 4 hours to reach Kufri.
Kalka is the closest railway station which is well connected with Delhi. Kalka is 100 Kms from Kufri. Although if one wishes to enjoy the ride of a hill train, Shimla is the nearest railway station.
Shimla is well connected to Delhi by Volvo Coaches. There is an option of overnight coach facility. From Shimla one can book cab for Kufri which takes only 15 Kms.
