Bandhavgarh National Park is a national park located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh, India. It covers an area of 437 square kilometers and is known for its rich biodiversity, especially the high density of tigers.
Once a hunting ground of maharajas, Bandhavgarh was declared a national park in 1968 and is divided into four zones, each with its own entry gate. The park is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including more than 250 species of birds, 80 species of butterflies, and numerous mammals such as tigers, leopards, deer, wild boar, and sloth bears.
The park is also known for its ancient fort, which is believed to be more than 2,000 years old. The fort is located on top of a hill and offers stunning views of the surrounding forest and plains. Visitors to the park can take jeep safaris to explore the park and its wildlife.

Day 01 (18th May, 2023) – ARRIVE BANDHAVGARH | NIGHT SAFARI
Arrive Bandhavgarh National Park. On arrival check in at your wildlife themed resort overlooking forest & have delicious lunch. Post lunch a small briefing about the itinerary of next 3 days. This day is reserved for Night Safari in Dhamokhar Buffer zone of Bandhavgarh National Park
Dhamokhar is a buffer zone, an important part of the Bandhavgarh landscape, is home to a variety of wildlife such as deer, monkeys, and various bird species. Visitors can take guided nature walks and jeep safaris in the buffer zone to explore the natural beauty of the region and to spot wildlife. Wildlife conservation efforts in the Dhamokhar buffer zone are aimed at maintaining and improving the habitat for wildlife and promoting sustainable tourism practices that benefit both the local communities and the natural environment.

Day 02 (19th May, 2023) – MORNING & AFTERNOON GAME DRIVES
Today we will be covering Khitauli zone of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Morning & afternoon both slots by exclusive gypsy. Field Breakfast will be provided. Lunch will be at resort.
Khitauli zone is a most popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts and offers a chance to spot a variety of wildlife species, including tigers, leopards, spotted deer, sambar deer, barking deer, wild boar, and more. Its lush forests and hilly terrain, makes it an ideal habitat for various wildlife species. The zone is also home to several ancient temples and forts, including the Bandhavgarh Fort, which is located at the top of a hill and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 03 (20th May, 2023) – MORNING & AFTERNOON GAME DRIVES
Today we will be covering Magadhi zone of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Morning & afternoon both slots by exclusive gypsy. Field Breakfast will be provided. Lunch will be at resort.
Magadhi is named after the ancient Magadha kingdom, which was ruled by the Maurya dynasty. The zone is known for its diverse flora and fauna, including the majestic Bengal tigers, leopards, sambar deer, spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar, and various bird species. The Magadhi zone is located in the central region of the park and is accessible through the Tala gate, which is the main entrance to the park. The zone is characterized by its hilly terrain and dense forests, which offer a natural habitat for wildlife. Visitors can enjoy a jeep safari to explore the zone and spot the wildlife in their natural habitat.

Day 04 (21st May, 2023) – MORNING SAFARI | DEPARTURE
Early morning Safari in Tala zone of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, with field breakfast. Back to resort. Check out from the resort after freshen up and depart for your forward journey with wild memories of your tour
