Located at Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh, the town of Orchha was established by RudraPratap Singh sometime after 1501. It lies on the Betwa River some 15 km from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. Built by the Bundelkhand Chief, The famous site of the Chaturbhuj Temple was built during the reign of Emperor Akbar, by the Queen of Orchha, Ganesh Kunwar. From Sonmarg another 15 kms drive will take you to  balta and from Baltal the mesmerising journey of Zojila Pass starts.

Zozila pass receives heavy snowfall from November till March so it remains closed during winters. Zozila pass is the most beautiful stretch of this road journey. It  is surrounded by glaciers and it remains open only for a few months in a year. If you are crossing this pass in early summer months you can enjoy stunning views of snow capped mountains, sometimes the sound of gurgling streams coming down, these scenic views will continue  till you  reach Drass.

Before you reach Leh on the way visit visit Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara pathar Sahib. By early evening reach at  Leh.

After having breakfast, proceed  to  Nubra valley. From Leh 40 kms uphill drive will take you to World Highest Motorable Pass-Khardungla Pass which  has an altitude of 18380 feet. In Ladakh you may be anywhere you will never find yourself far from views of majestic snow capped mountains and driving on Khardungla is like driving on one of  such mountains. You may be travelling in any month at Khardungla you will always find snow and at this altitude air has low oxygen level so a long stay is not recommended on top.

Post lunch visit home of a 106 feet high imposing statue of Maitreya Buddha- Diskit Monastery. The top of the monastery where this statue is resting offers a commanding view of vast Nubra valley. Before evening comes some adventure and take a camel ride in the cold desert of hunder. Some part of the valley is dotted with small white sand dunes By evening return to camp. Dinner and overnight at Camp.

After breakfast proceed for the longest road trip in Ladakh region. Enjoy the drive along the river , mountains. This drive under the blue sky ,along the freshwater river will take you to  Turquoise colour Pangong lake.

Once you reach, enjoy the beautiful view of this longest lake of ladakh. This lake shot to fame after the shooting of 3 idiots. After dinner spend the night in a tent.

After breakfast proceed for Leh. By afternoon reach at Leh. In the afternoon have lunch at Leh. In the evening you may visit Leh market and try some local mouth watering delicacies of ladakh or purchase some memento  for friends and family members. Dinner and overnight at Leh.

Have early morning breakfast and set off for Tso Moriri.Tso  Moriri lake is  high altitude lake and lies entirely in India, it is in Changthang Plateau. Its surrounding wetland area is home to a myriad of  birds. This lake is near  china border so a special permit is required to visit this lake for Indian  Nationals and for foreign nationals a Protected Area permit is required. Like Pangong lake this lake is also very beautiful. Spend some time at this picturesque lake followed by dinner and overnight at Camp at Korzok village.

After breakfast proceed for Leh. On arrival check in rooms. Dinner and overnight at Leh.

Post breakfast proceed for Leh Airport to catch flight for Delhi / Mumbai

Welcome to Ladakh. Our teammate  will meet you at the Airport and  facilitate your transfer from Airport to Resort. Remainder of day at leisure. It is advised on the first day of arrival to relax or not to go sightseeing as on arrival day your body may experience altitude sickness it needs time to acclimatize. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Post breakfast enjoy a scenic drive of 65 Kms to reach  Alchi Monastery (Altitude 3100 meters ).On the way enjoy view of  snow capped mountains and winding river. Alchi monastery is one of the oldest monasteries around Leh and  have  monuments and scriptures dated as old as the 10th century.

From here drive 22 kms to reach Likir Monastery. As you approach Likir monastery(elevation 3700 meters)  a 75 feet tall buddha statue will start emerging which is a famous attraction of Likir Monastery.

While coming back to Leh visit confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers  followed by visit to  Magnetic hill and Gurudwara pathar sahib. Dinner and overnight at Leh.

Post breakfast start your journey for  Nubra valley. This journey will pass through Khardungla Pass. Highest point of  Khardungla Pass has an altitude of 18380 feet. On the way mystic landscape will enthrall you. While going uphill on  Khardungla pass captures the beauty of the snow capped Stok Kangri Mountain range. At the top point of Khardungla pass click some insta worthy pictures and proceed for Nubra valley. On arrival at Nubra valley check in your camp.

After lunch visit Diskit Monastery. At Diskit  monastery the beauty of  imposing statues of Maitreyabuddha is worth capturing. This monastery offers a commanding view of the beautiful Nubra valley. In the evening visit cold desert of hunder where a camel ride on double hump bactrian camel is one of its kind of experience during ladakh trip.By evening return to resort. Dinner and overnight at Camp.

After breakfast proceed for Leh. On arrival have lunch. Post lunch take  rest for  few hours. In the evening visit Leh Market and try some local mouth watering delicacies like Skyu. You may also purchase some memento  for friends or family members. Dinner and overnight at Leh.

After breakfast start your overland  Himalayan safari of Ladakh. To reach Pangong lake you will pass through a high altitude pass (18000 feet)  known as Changla Pass, Colourful vistas of nature will greet you at every corner of this pass.

By afternoon reach at Pangong lake. Capture the view of a shimmering azure lake against the backdrop of sand hued mountain range. Pangong lake is 134 kms long so you may see blue  water as far as your eyes can see.Spend some time at this beautiful lake.  At an altitude of 4300 meters  and straddling between India and  China, Pangong lake is a brackish water lake. Post lunch  proceed  for Leh. By late evening reach at Leh. Dinner and overnight at Leh.

After breakfast proceed for Leh Airport.
